Preparation and characterization of single-phase potassium-doped PTCDA thin films

摘要
Single-phase films with K/3,4:9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride stoichiometry have been synthesized using the method of fractional sublimation in vacuum. This demonstrates that this method can be successfully applied to alkali metal-doped organic molecular crystals which is an important prerequisite for a number of spectroscopic studies of such systems where an in situ sample preparation is required.
