摘要
Humanoid robots promise to lead the path toward more effective and informative interactions between humans and robotic devices. In this article, mechanisms for attention control and pattern categorization are proposed as the bases for cognition in a humanoid robot. It also discusses the development of a methodology to provide the basic mechanisms that support humanoid robot cognition.
