摘要
The dynamic analysis of beams undergoing large defections are studied in this work. For simplicity and better understanding of the basic concepts, we focus attention on two-dimensional analysis of beams. The Euler-Bernoulli hypothesis is employed with the beam undergoing large rotations but small strains. We extend the consistent co-rotational static analysis to dynamic analysis and obtain transient responses of the beam. This paper includes several examples illustrating the implementation and the performance of the co-rotational technique. (C) 1988 Elsevier Science S.A.
