摘要
Amplification without inversion is considered in a three-level Lambda-configuration where the driven low-frequency transition is embedded in a frequency dependent environment. The split dressed states on the low frequency transition consequently involve distinct fluorescence rates with clear modifications arising in the absorption spectrum and the index of refraction.
