摘要：

Project MeDoc (Multimedia Electronic Documents) is an experimental digital library initiative promoted by the German Informatics Society. The project's goal is to stimulate the use of electronic media in academic education and in scientific research. The MeDoc library intends to provide all documents that are of value to students, lecturers, and researchers in an academic environment. MeDoc's main emphasis is toward provision of electronic books.
