The conceptual design,the manufacturing process and the production of a mu-metal mesh to screen from the geomagnetic field, the 15 " Hamamatsu phototube, contained in the optical module of the underwater neutrino telescope NESTOR, are described Some measurements of the the efficiency of the mesh are reported.
