Spectroscopic investigations of LaAlO3:Eu3+

摘要
Absorption, time-resolved I emission spectra and decay times of LaAlO3 :Eu3+ are shown. It was found that LaAlO3:Eu3+ crystal exhibits very efficient emission. Observed peaks were assigned to the D-5(3,2,1,0) --> F-7(J) transitions. The strongest emission is observed from the D-5(0) level to the F-7(1,2,4) levels. Decay time of the D-5(0) emission was 2.44 ms at 4.5 K and weakly depends on temperature. Decay time of the D-5(1) and D-5(2) level is short and strongly depends on temperature. Energy levels of Eu3+ in LaAlO3 were assigned. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
