A highly reactive triboracyclobutane and its dianion:: Two-electron homoaromatics with nonclassical and classical σ skeletons

摘要：

The first triboracyclobutane, 2c, a two-electron homoaromatic having a nonclassical a skeleton, was generated at -80 C and stabilized as its dianion 2a2-, which was characterized by the crystal structure determination of its dilithium salt and which possesses a classical a skeleton.
