Plant proliferation in a spatial model of Cournot competition

摘要
This article analyzes a circular market in which multi-plant firms deliver consumption goods. There are two plants per firm at most, and competition is a la Cournot at each point in space. In equilibrium, on the circle, all plants are equally spaced and paired in the market. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
