摘要：

An approach is presented to optimise the performance of a composite array by selecting sensors which give widely differing responses to each analyte, and whose sensitivities are as high as possible. The performance of the optimised array is compared with an existing array for model chemicals and real samples. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
