Possible new quantum macroscopic effect in low-dimensional structures: The appearance of an electromotive force in a standing acoustic wave

摘要
In low-dimensional structures having an asymmetrical quantizing potential and being embedded in a magnetic field, the momentum transfer to the electron system for an isotropic external influence is different for mutually opposite directions [Kibis, JETP Lett. 66 (8) (1997)]. Owing to this, momentum transfer from the standing acoustic wave to the electrons will take place, which leads to the appearance of a new electromotive force.
