(Figure Presented) Getting the right mix: Controlling the extent of the charge on the surfaces of carboxy-coated latex nanoparticles enables ultrastable oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions to be prepared. Emulsion inversion is simply achieved by changing the pH value (see picture) or salt concentration.
