摘要
We describe a continuum model of the sea urchin egg during the first cleavage division. Using estimated values of the relevant mechanical parameters we then carry out numerical simulations of cytokinesis and conduct a systematic comparison of these computations with a variety of published experimental data, (C) 1997 Academic Press.
