Pound-Drever frequency-stabilised Yb-Er:glass laser against C2H2 molecule at 1.534097μm

摘要
The Pound-Drever-Hall technique has been successfully used to stabilise a diode-pumped bulk Yb-Er:glass laser against the P(15) re-vibrational line of the acetylene molecule. Absorption and dispersion-like spectra of the 1.534097 mu m molecular transition have been measured. The stabilised laser shows a robust and repeatable locking regime, with a root mean square frequency stability, measured over a 24h period, of better than 200kHz.
