摘要
Recent results show that in the developing Drosophila wing, the secreted pioneer protein Fringe regulates the sensitivity of the Notch signaling pathway to different ligands. This provides a likely mechanism by which Fringe-like molecules may control patterning in both Drosophila and vertebrates. (C) Current Biology Ltd ISSN 0960-9822.
