摘要
This paper takes a fresh look at organizational governance. Using qualitative methods and an interpretive perspective, the authors provide a thick description of the interplay between a large nonprofit organization's board of directors and top managers. Their account highlights the role of organizational dramaturgy and identity in shaping directors' behaviors.
