摘要
Batch tests were performed to compare the degradation rates of TCE on Fe-0 and Zn-0. Our results indicated that the degradating capability of Zn-0 to TCE was nearly 10 times higher than that of Fe-0. On the other hand, the degradation rates of Fe-0 or Zn-0 in conjunction with other metals fbr reduction of TCE was investigated. The selected metals were nickel (Ni-0) and palladium (Pd-0) both of which have a strong enhancement effect. The reduction rates of Zn-0/Pd-0 and Zn-0/Ni-0 for TCE were the fastest. Fe-o that had lost its surface activity could be activated again by the addition of Pd-0 or Ni-0. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
