Optimization of YBa2Cu3O7 superconducting thick layers produced by plasma spray technique

摘要
In this paper a new method to produce thick layers of YBa2Cu3O7 using Plasma Spray Technique (PST) is proposed. Good superconducting thick layers were prepared without bond-layer, buffer layer and annealing. The compound was deposited on a stainless steel substrate by a plasma spray torch using nitrogen as the working gas. The only heat treatment was performed during the sample oxygenating process at 480 degrees C.
