摘要
An algorithm is developed for smooth interpolation within the square or rectangular-grid cells of a digital terrain model (DTM) using bi-directional third-degree parabolic blending functions. Two FORTRAN subroutines are given. The first performs integral subdivision of the DTM. The second interpolates a single point anywhere inside a DTM cell, also providing the slopes in the x and y direction as well as the dip and strike at that point. Provisions are made in all situations for interpolation within the outer cells of the DTM. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
