摘要
Shape-controllable yttria nanocrystals were synthesized through a simple hydrothermal pattern. The shape of nanoparticles, nanoflakes, and nanorods can be controlled by the pH value. X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to characterize the products. Nanorods with diameters of about 40-60 nm and 1.2 mum in length can be achieved ultimately. The virtue of such a method lies in the mild conditions, high yield and convenience for the synthesis of pure-phase yttria nanocrystals. (C) 2004 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
