摘要：

To answer the demand for total products from the market, AEC companies are exploring the opportunities for Design-Build and Build-Operate-Transfer projects. One of the problem areas they encounter, is the integration between design and construction. This paper elaborates on an integration concept to establish computer-aided design for construction (CA DfC), The paper discusses the theoretical concept of project-modelling, outlines a corresponding computer implementation in an object-oriented environment and suggests an approach for successful organisational implementation.
