摘要
We have studied the magnetic properties of the compound TbMn4Al8 by means of neutron diffraction and magnetic measurements. From the magnetic measurements it is concluded that the magnetic interactions in this compound are very weak and do not lead to magnetic ordering above 4.2 K. From the neutron diffraction measurements it is concluded that magnetic ordering is absent even down to 1.5 K. The influence of atomic-site disorder on the magnetic properties is discussed.
