摘要
Take the stepping stones: Electrons are exchanged between both termini of ahellcal peptide self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on gold by a hopping mechanism with the amide groups as hopping sites (see picture). The rate constant of 0.45 s-1 for the 64-mer peptide is significantly high for electron transfer through dielectric organic materials. (Figure Presented) © 2010 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KCaA.
