Synthesis, structure of 3-(N,N-dimethylamino)propyl- and 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)ferrocenyl-derivatives of gold and platinum

[3-(N,N-dimethylaminopropyl]-lithium (DMAP)Li (I) reacts with chloro(triphenylphosphane)-gold(I) ClAu . P(C(6)H(6))(3) to form monometallic organo gold(I)-derivate (DMAP)Au . P(C(6)H(5))(3) (1) respectively with [2-(dimethylaminomethyl)ferrocenyl]-lithium (FcN)Li (II) to form a heterobimetallic organo gold(I)-compound (FcN)Au . P(C(6)H(5))(3) (2). Reactions of the gold(I)-complexes ClAu . P(C(6)H(4)F-p)(3), ClAu . P(C(6)H(4)F-m)(3) and ClAu . P(C(6)F(5))(3) with II lead to the formation of (FcN)Au . P(C(6)H(4)F-p)(3) (3), (FcN)Au . P(C(6)H(4)F-m)(3) (4), respectively [FcNAu](2) (5). The platinum(II)-derivatives PtCl(2) and cis-Cl(2)Pt[P(C(6)H(5))(3)](2) react with II to the heterobimetallic platin organika (FcN)(2)Pt (6) and (FcN)PtCl . P(C(6)H(5))(3) (7). A more detailed characterization of the organo derivatives 1-7 was carried out by elementary analyses, mass-, NMR-and Mossbauer spectroscopy as well as by X-ray crystal structure analyses referring to 2, 5, 6.
