摘要
Multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter spp. constitute a serious cause of nosocomial infection in Brazilian hospitals. This manuscript reports the first appearance of an IMP-like metallo-beta-lactamase encountered in a clinical isolate of A. baumannii from a Brazilian teaching hospital. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science Inc.
