摘要
Intrinsically acentric self-assembled superlattices (SASs) have been directly grown in a layer-by-layer process on the commercially available polymer Cyclotene(TM). Using the high-temperature/high-transparency fluoropolyether Cytop(TM) as a cladding layer, the SAS films have been used to successfully fabricate traveling-wave electro-optic (EO) modulators, demonstrating a straightforward approach toward "all-organic" modulators.
