Parabolic intraparticle concentration profile assumption in modeling and simulation of nonlinear simulated moving-bed separation processes

摘要
The linear driving force (LDF) mass transfer model is applied in the simulated moving-bed separation process with nonlinear adsorption isotherms and is compared with the linear pore diffusion model. The models are essentially equivalent in modelling simulated moving bed separation processes, as long as mass transfer coefficient is 15/td. The intraparticle concentration profiles at the end of each zones are presented for both models.
