摘要
Injectors, although most often used in industry as feeding devices in the pneumatic conveying of bulk solids, are also used as injecting or dispersing instruments for powders. Hence, there are two basic injector construction patterns: the injector with an axial nozzle and a hopper on the side working as a valve in conveying lines, and the injector with a ring nozzle for feeding solids. Two basic numerical calculation procedures should be considered. The method of Kmiec and Leschonski for the first type of injector and the routine of Menzel for the second an discussed in the paper. In both cases the numerical results of calculations have been verified by the experimental data. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
