摘要：

Simultaneous measurements of coherent and incoherent neutron scattering were used to investigate the adsorption of polyalcohols onto ice. The coherent scattering provides quantitative measures of the amount of ice and information on structural perturbations arising from adsorption. The incoherent measurements provide a quantitative measure of the mobility of the adsorbate.
