摘要
It is difficult to present great conclusions about the influence of thinks tanks. The major think tanks have earned an important presence in the Washington policy community. In the words of one political scientist, "Power in Washington cannot be measured precisely, yet think tanks surely have a good deal for it aEuro broken vertical bar aEuroe The major think tanks are important sources of information to the media, the government, and to a host of interest groups involved in the public policy process. The result is a lively competition of ideas in the policy arena.
