Highly sensitive interferometric autocorrelator using Si avalanche photodiode as two-photon absorber

摘要
The author has developed a highly sensitive interferometric autocorrelator, with 2mW(2) sensitivity at a wavelength of 1.55 mu m, which uses a an Si avalanche photodiode as a two-photon absorber. The pulse width and chirp of pulses with low peak power, which are generated from an actively mode-locked semiconductor laser, are measured by using the newly developed autocorrelator.
