摘要
Acute wound healing is a complex process that follows a predictable chain of events. The five phases that characterize wound healing include hemostasis, inflammation, cellular migration and proliferation, protein synthesis and wound contraction, and remodeling. This review describes the chain of events that lead to a healed wound.
