摘要
The possibilities and limitations of applying the Eddy break-up (EBU) model to nonpremixed flames are experimentally investigated. The apparent success of the model, as well as the problems that are encountered when combining the model with a multistep reaction mechanism are discussed. It is also shown that the model can be used to model hydrocarbon flames with a four-step mechanism and it also reveals shortcomings in the model.
