摘要
The physical properties, such as compatibility, the mechanical properties and the thermal degradation behavior of poly(methyl methacrylate) blended with propyl ester phosphazene have been investigated by DSC, SEM and TGA/FTIR. The results reveal partial miscibility of propyl ester phosphazene in PMMA when the amount of propyl ester phosphazene is less than 20 phr; greater amounts were immiscible. The major thermal degradation temperature, residual char yield and activation energy of PMMA blends increase with increasing propyl ester phosphazene content, and are higher than pure PMMA.
