摘要：

We compared whole blood dried on filter paper to the standard assay,vith frozen cell free plasma for use in the quantitation of the human immunodeficiency virus RNA load in blood. RNA values from filter paper, corrected for the hematocrit, gave results comparable to those of the standard assay in terms of sensitivity and reproducibility.
