摘要
The influence of Al3+ on the growth of TiO2 microcrystals and the transformation of anatase to rutile in the calcination of metatitanic acid is investigated. The final distribution of Al3+ in the particles is shown to follow the thermodynamics of adsorption of Al3+ dissolved in the bulk of the crystal to surface sites.
