摘要：

(Figure Presented) Triangles and zigzags: Large triangle-shaped C 3-symmetrical polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with multiple zigzag peripheries were synthesized. The molecules display mesophase stability over a wide temperature range as a result of helical packing. Moreover, a 2D honeycomb pattern was observed for one of the larger structures (see picture). © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
