摘要
PAC (perturbed angular correlation of χ-rays) spectroscopy is one of the key techniques in understanding how the function of protein is related to the structure and dynamics of the metal ion binding site. This review discusses applications of this technique in biology. It is intended as a collection of examples, which provide non-PAC experts insight into the possibilities and limitations of this technique. It also provides a complete list of applications of PAC spectroscopy to biologically relevant problems.
