Kinetic description of keyhole plasma in laser welding

摘要
This paper deals with the theoretical analysis of plasma phenomena in the keyhole during laser welding. The mathematical model based on the kinetic equation for optical discharge is presented. The influence of the beam intensity and the keyhole radius on the plasma properties is shown. The temperatures of the plasma electrons, delivered by the model, correspond to the experimental data.
