摘要
Nanoscale coordination polymers (NCPs), prepared with metal ions and an iodinated ligand, were synthesized using reverse-phase microemulsion techniques and rapid precipitation procedures. The NCPs carry high payloads of iodine (ca. 63 wt%) and have potential applications as a new class of contrast agents for computed tomography (CT), as demonstrated by phantom studies (see figure). © 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
