摘要:
This paper describes a low cost single-chip MPEG2 Audio/Video Encoder (1)) for consumer storage applications. The IC performs sophisticated noise-reduction, IPB video encoding, MPEG or AC3 stereo audio-encoding and system multiplexing. Furthermore it has low resource demands both irt terms of SDRAM bandwidth and silicon area. Thus it delivers a true low cost solution, whilst maintaining superior video quality.
