摘要
Whilst our understanding of the biology of the metastatic cascade has improved significantly in recent years, sadly this has not been matched by dramatic improvements in eradication of solid tumour metastases in patients. As the regulatory mechanisms underlying tumour angiogenesis and ECM degradation become apparent, novel anti-metastatic strategies are being developed and early studies suggest they hold some promise.
