摘要
The production methods and use of high-porosity permeable cellular metals and alloys (HPPCM) were discussed. The production methods, which are based on foamed polyurethane (FPU), include casting, suspension (slurry), chemical, galvanic, gas-phase and combination of the methods. The HPPCM structures have unsurpassed porosity, permeability and cohesion. In catalytic processes, such as industrial gas cleaning to remove solid impurities, HPPCM are used as the catalyst carrier and directly as the catalyst.
