Sub-wavelength characterisation of optical focal structures

摘要
A technique for mapping the focal region of a lens with 100 nm spatial resolution is described. The technique is tested against a well characterised focal structure produced by a glass aspheric lens with a numerical aperture of 0.4. The results are in very good agreement with theory confirming the accuracy sf this method. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
