摘要：

The hypoglycaemic effect of the methanolic extract of Ocimum gratissimum leaves was evaluated in normal and alloxan-induced diabetic rats. Intraperitoneal injection of the extract (400 mg/kg) significantly reduced plasma levels both in normal and diabetic rats by 56 and 68%, respectively. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
