Recognition of stereoregular polymers by using structurally regulated ultrathin polymer films

摘要
Incorporating films: An ultrathin polymer film that is molecularly porous and conformationally regular is prepared by the selective solvent extraction of one component from a layer-by-layer stereocomplex assembly. The resulting host film can reincorporate the extracted polymer (see picture; PMMA: poly(methyl methacrylate), it: isotactic, st: syndiotactic). The film also recognizes the length of the alkyl side-chain of an interactive polymer in the incorporation.
