Vortex shedding and transition frequencies associated with flow around a circular cylinder

摘要
The article discusses the vortex shedding and transition frequencies associated with flow around a circular cylinder. It is found that the two peaks observed in this study are the main transition frequency and its subharmonic. In addition, the readings of the present investigation were at Reynolds number that is at a higher end of the transition region.
