The forest resources of Russia are discussed in terms of two broad regions, Focusing on their ability to support harvest. Longterm economic harvest levels are identified The ability of the Russian forest resource to support export of wood Fiber is examined through scenario analyses linking capital, forest resource, and domestic demand.
