Synthesis and chemistry of novel dendritic macromolecules possessing internal electroactive anthraquinonoid moieties

摘要
A novel series of structured dendritic macromolecules incorporating covalently linked diaminoanthraquinones was synthesized. C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies confirmed the formation of an amino triester from the reaction of 1,4-diaminoanthraquinone (1,4-DAAQ) with glutaryl chloride and an amine. 1H NMR spectra together with elemental analysis and MALDI-TOF mass spectra of the compounds support a hydrogen-bonded, cyclic conformation. Voltammetric studies reveal the electrochemical behavior and redox properties of the dendritic macromolecules.
