摘要：

A study was set up in the UK in 1997 to examine whether there is any evidence that variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) is transmitted by blood transfusion. To date, the study has identified three probable cases of vCJD transmission by blood transfusion, including two clinical cases and one pre- (or sub-) clinical case. (c) 2007 Elsevier Masson SAS.
